Cardrooms allowed to reopen across California
SALINAS, Calif. — It's a different gaming experience across California as cardrooms are now allowed to reopen amid the pandemic.
"In the casino industry, the DOJ and Bureau of Gaming Controls have come up with certain ideals certain restrictions and regulations in order to open up," gambling consultant Bill Kracht said. Kracht was hired by Bankers Casino in Salinas to make sure all those regulations were met.
The new regulations include regularly cleaning and disinfecting equipment and furniture that is shared between customers. This includes chips being washed and disinfected prior to circulation and being be removed from service upon every dealer rotation.
