With the homestretch in clear view, a Chemehuevi Indian Tribe official said all systems are “go” for opening the tribe’s new casino in the next few weeks.

“In the next two weeks, the (hotel) rooms should be ready and the landscaping is going in,” said Brian McDonald, the tribe’s vice chairman.
