The memo by Jill Barrett, interim general manager of Harrah’s Resort Southern California, to staff announcing a reduction in numbers of employees and changing benefits for furloughed employees—that was reported in last week’s Roadrunner—told a story. But, says Rincon Tribal Chairman Bo Mazzetti, it doesn’t tell the whole story.

“I don’t think people realize what we’ve continued to do during the COVID-19 crisis,” said the chairman during an interview on Monday at the tribal administration center.
