As California enters the next phase of its stay-at-home order, casinos are beginning to consider re-opening to the public, a topic of concern for Humboldt County health officials.

Bear River Casino is set to begin a reopening process on May 24, starting with daily operating hours of 9 a.m. to 5 a.m., with the intervening four hours dedicated to “deep cleaning,” the casino said.
