CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The Lake Local Area Formation Commission has approved a proposal to annex Middletown Rancheria land into the Callayomi County Water District in order to ensure a safe, reliable source of water for the tribe’s homes and casino.

LAFCo approved the annexation of approximately 109.38 acres into the water district at its meeting on Jan. 15 in Clearlake.
