Significant Guidance Documents
DOI agencies maintain lists of significant guidance documents as called for by the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) Bulletin No. 07-02: Final Bulletin for Agency Good Guidance Practices. This Bulletin establishes policies and procedures for agencies within the Executive Branch to apply in their development, issuance, and use of significant guidance documents. The agency links below will allow you to view or comment on DOI significant guidance documents.
Bureau of Indian Affairs
"Indian Affairs (IA) has not determined that any of its documents meet the definition of 'significant guidance;' however, IA is working closely with the program offices to monitor compliance with the Good Guidance requirements regarding the development and posting of future significant guidance documents."
Bureau of Land Management
"The BLM has no documents that qualify as either a significant guidance document or economically significant guidance document."

Feedback or Complaints
Members of the public who have feedback or complaints regarding significant guidance documents should contact the office that issued the guidance. If you have a complaint about a Department of the Interior significant guidance document, please contact the point of contact identified on the guidance document. If your complaint is not resolved or if you believe a DOI employee is not following the guidance requirements of Executive Order 13422 or OMB's Good Guidance Practices Bulletin, please contact the office of the Executive Secretariat and Regulatory Affairs at [email protected]. In order to ensure proper processing of your comment, please include the words "SIGNIFICANT GUIDANCE: [Insert name of significant guidance document]" in the subject line of your email message. Public comments under these procedures are for the benefit of the Department of the Interior and do not require formal response by us. We will review requests, complaints, and questions to determine whether any action is warranted and, if so, what action is appropriate.
