It is apparent that there are two political agendas at work, regarding the Ridgecrest Entertainment / Casino Project.

The questions before the City Council at a recent emergency closed session meeting were; 1) is the City Council willing to cancel their June 1, 2016, Municipal Services Agreement (“MSA”) with the Tribe and face an expensive lawsuit; 2) are they willing to ignore the demand of China Lake Properties (“CLP”), the partnership, to sell the Ridgecrest Parcel to the Ridgecrest Redevelopment Agency in 2000 to sell the property to the developer.
