CHICO, Calif. (KRCR) — A man was arrested for killing his mother at her Chico home Thursday evening.

Deputies said after the crime the suspect, 45-year-old Aaron Connors, took his mother's car. Deputies tracked him down as he left the Gold Country Casino hours later.

The incident started around 5 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 4300 block of Keefer Road just outside the Chico city limits.
