Yocha Dehe nation fires contractor for casino expansion project

The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation announced it has terminated its contract with general contractor Swinerton, which was building two new hotel towers in Brooks that expand the Cache Creek Casino Resort.

Construction on the $200 million project began in May 2017, and was originally scheduled to be completed in March 2019, but remains unfinished.
